Say it isn't so! Just eight months after they began dating and posting the cutest "usies" on Instagram, Big Sean and Ariana Grande have called it quits and we're devastated.
"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” their reps told Us Weekly in a joint statement. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."
It seems work is to blame for the separation of the cute former couple, as Ariana is currently on her first international tour, which concludes in October, and Big Sean is also touring around the world through July.
“They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” one source noted, according to reports.

This breakup is pretty surprising, considering just earlier this month, Big Sean was coming to Ariana's defense after Justin Bieber wrapped his arms around her during one of her tour stops. The two worked on "As Long As You Love Me" together. The rapper tweeted, then deleted, "The kid is about to learn not to touch my girl like that. Beliebe that."

Still, it sounds like since work was to blame for their split, and not a lack of love, there may be hope for them reconciling once their touring ends.
