Ariana Grande Claims Her New Tattoo Is 'Not A Cover Up' Of Previous Pete Davidson Ink

She won't admit it, but Ariana Grande is most definitely covering up her tracks! The "Thank U, Next" singer took to social media on Sunday, March 17, to show off one of her new tattoos, which hides some of her Pete Davidson-inspired ink. Scroll through for all the details.

While Ariana and Pete's relationship only lasted a grand total of five months, they both got enough impulsive tattoos for each other to last a lifetime.

Among many tattoos inspired by Pete, the "7 Rings" singer got the word "Always" tattooed underneath her ribcage in June 2018, which people believe was done in the Saturday Night Live star's handwriting.

"Not a cover up just evolving," Ariana said alongside a photo she shared of her newest tattoo: a delicate leaf outlined around the previous "Always" ink.

During their short relationship, Ariana got Pete's first name printed on her ring finger and his father’s FDNY badge number, 8148, on her ankle. He died in the 911 terrorist attacks in 2001. The former couple also got many matching tattoos but many have been covered up since.
