Arie Luyendyk left fans in complete shock when he dumped his fiancé Becca Kufrin on national television to be with runner-up Lauren Burnham. Now, Arie and Lauren are already full-steam ahead with their wedding plans, and they say they'll tie the knot by the end of the year. Click through for more details!
“We’re so ready for this," Arie told People after he proposed to Lauren on Bachelor: After the Final Rose. “Lauren told me I’m four months late on this proposal, and I wanted to give it to her and I wanted everyone at home to share in it.”
Lauren confessed that she “had an inkling” Arie was going to propose because, she said, he's "not good at keeping secrets." She added, “he didn’t tell me, but he gave me hints!”
Despite the fact that Arie became one of America's most hated reality TV stars overnight after he broke Becca's heart, the happy couple isn't bothered by the haters. “We don’t really care what anyone else has to say about it,” Lauren said.

And the two are wasting no time when it comes to the wedding. “We’ve already been planning it, even before the engagement,” Arie revealed. “We want to do it quickly!”
It sounds like Arie and Lauren have made peace with the dramatic way this season ended, and are just ready to move forward. “Love is not always perfect,” Arie said. “Everyone finds each other in a different way. It’s not always a fairy tale, but as long as Lauren and I have each other, we’re happy.”
