Good thing Joe Jonas wasn’t around! Former flames Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid had possibly the most awkward run-in ever recently, and Cody of course decided to capture the moment and share it with fans.
After avoiding one another on the red carpet at the Much Music Awards in Toronto, fate brought them back together, in the form of an airline flight.
Gigi will probably want to know in advance from now on who she will be seated next to on international flights, as she ended up next to Cody of all people!

She looked pretty unhappy about the situation, which is understandable considering the two split just weeks ago, and she has seemingly moved on with Joe. But Cody made light of the weird run-in, taking a selfie of himself and a sad-looking Gigi. He posted the pic on Snapchat, with the caption, “when u get seated next to ur ex on a plane."
Both were heading back to Los Angeles, and made sure to leave the flight minutes apart. Gigi did not look too thrilled upon her exit from the airport.
