‘Bachelorette’ Showdown: Kenny & Lee Go Head-To-Head On Dramatic Two-On-One Date

Rachel Lindsay had to put back on her lawyer hat for the first two-on-one date of the season. The bachelorette wasn’t playing any games when she asked Lee Garrett and Kenny King to join her for the infamous two-on-one date, where one suitor is asked to leave immediately following the outing, to get to the bottom of Lee and Kenny’s mega-feud (the guys had been fighting for nearly three weeks straight). However, with both guys telling very different stories, Rachel was left to rely on her own judgment to figure out who to send home.
After taking a helicopter ride to what look looked like the middle of nowhere Norway, Rachel pulled each of the guys aside to hear their side of the story. First up was Kenny, who seemed to really gain Rachel’s favor after he told her he was there looking for love, and not drama with Lee.
“My gut feeling from Kenny is to trust him,” Rachel said. “He is very forthcoming with his feelings and emotions when he talks to me, and I just get a sense of sincerity from him when the talks.”
However, when it was time for Lee’s one-on-one chat it seemed like Rach’s gut feeling about Kenny was thrown out the window when Lee accused Kenny of getting violent with him.

“It’s only when he drinks,” he told her. “He has a side that comes out. And he talked to me one night about this dark side that he has, and he goes, ‘I don’t like it, but I keep it in check.’ But when he drinks it comes out.”
Rachel seemed thrown for a loop as she told the cameras, “I was going to leave lawyer Rach at home, but I just really need to get to the bottom of it. All I wanted out of today was clarity, but right now all I’m getting is two completely different stories from Kenny and Lee,” she admitted. “I don’t know who to believe.”
The episode then ended with Rachel telling Kenny about the new accusations Lee made against him, and Kenny once again defending himself, calling Lee a flat-out liar. While the date was cut short by the infamous “To Be Continued,” the shocking second part of the date will air tonight on ABC.
