Here's What ‘Bachelorette’ Star Becca Kufrin Is Doing With Her $6,000 Venmo Donations
Talking about turning lemons into lemonade. Becca Kufrin’s Bachelor heartbreak first turned into an outpour of Venmo donations so she could get herself a drink (or twelve) after her heartbreaking split from Arie Luyendyk Jr. While that definitely goes down as a good deed (#MoneyforBooze) the newly crowned Bachelorette revealed she has an even better use for the funds raised in her name.
While appearing on Tuesday’s live Bachelor: After The Final Rose special, Chris Harrison informed Becca that fans had raised more than $6,000 for her to drink her sorrows away after The Bachelor finale.
"I don't even know what to think," Becca reacted after hearing the news. "I love my wine don't get me wrong, but I don't think I can drink that much. I don't know."
Chris then asked what she was planning to do with all of the money, which she, without hesitation, responded, "Donate it! Give it to some cause that needs it, Stand Up to Cancer.”

Then Chris also announced that The Bachelor would match the $6,000 amount and also donate it to Stand Up to Cancer. "That makes me so happy,” Becca said. “You know, this is a terrible situation that happened.” Chris added, "Some good will come out of it."
As OK! readers’ know, Bachelor Nation went crazy after the airing of Monday’s Bachelor finale when it was revealed that Arie dumped Becca, his then-fiancée and chosen Bachelor winner, to be with his runner-up, Lauren Burnham.
While Becca admitted she was heartbroken for some time after the split, she said she had finally moved on and was ready for the next chapter in her life. And then, within minutes of her postive life update, Becca was named the newest Bachelorette, and even got to meet five of her suitors live in-studio. (Talk about good Karma!)
