The couple's daughter Ella, 17, joined them at the event, but their son Quinlin, 14, was not in attendance.
Ben, 53, and Christine, 48, announced their split in May 2017 after 17 years of marriage. However, the two are often seen walking red carpets together.
In October, the Zoolander star and The Brady Bunch Movie actress were spotted at the Project ALS New York City Gala with Ella. A eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time, “They weren’t hanging out together, only because they knew a lot of people at the event and were chatting and catching up with them."
“At one point, Ben put his arm on Christine’s shoulder to get her attention,” the source said. “It seemed very natural and organic.”
At the Project ALS event, the Wedding Singer star was asked about any hopes for reconciliation with her estranged ex. “We’re a big family. We’re together all the time," she told the outlet. She was then was questioned about her “nice” post-breakup relationship with Ben. “It’s wonderful, it’s wonderful," Christine replied.
Ben and Christine were also seen on a fun family outing to watch a Broadway show with their kids back in April. The duo caught a showing of Pretty Woman: The Musical at the Nederlander Theatre in NYC. They also turned heads at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards when they arrived together.
They met on the set of 1999’s Heat Vision and Jack and tied the knot in 2000 in Kauai, Hawaii. When their divorce was announced, Ben and Christine released a joint statement. “With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time,” the statement read.
