After a battle with cancer, Angela "Big Ang" Raiola of Mob Wives fame passed away in the early morning hours of Feb. 18 at age 55.
Her family released a statement announcing her tragic passing overnight.
The reality star revealed in February that doctors had diagnosed her with stage 4 brain and lung cancer and she had a 30 percent chance of survival.

Raiola underwent surgeries to have a lemon-sized tumor removed from her throat in March 2015 and again in June 2015. However, by December, she learned the cancer came back again and spread to her brain and right lung.
"It's shocking what happened," she recently told Dr. Oz. "First I thought I was cancer-free. I was gonna have a big celebration … and then a month later I was stage 4."
Big Ang is survived by two children, six grandchildren and her sister, Janine Detore. Raiola revealed that she had recently split from her husband Neil Murphy amid her cancer diagnosis. "I felt like he never stepped up to the plate, so I was done with it," the Mob Wives star said on The Dr. Oz Show. "Now, it's too late. I would rather be by myself. I would rather be alone."
