When making their entrances into the show, several contestants went all-in with flight-themed arrivals. Madison, the foster parent recruiter, arrived in a large paper airplane. Tammy, a house flipper, channeled the TSA and inspected Pilot Pete with a metal detector. Shiann, an administrative assistant gifted him a barf bag. Courtney, a cosmetologist, arrived in a little plane that had squeaky wheels (which Peter, 28, dubbed the best entrance). Kiarra, a nanny, popped out of a suitcase
Other entrances were not related to the California native’s career. Deandra, a home care coordinator walked in with a windmill on her back, asking Peter if he was ready for “Round 5.” Perhaps the most memorable introduction was Jenna, a nursing student from Illinois brought her emotional support cow, Ashley P.
Hannah, 25, who sent Pilot Pete home after he made it to the final three made an appearance during the first episode. She returned to the mansion to return the wings Peter gave her on the first night of her season. During the emotional Alabama native’s appearance, she broke down in tears and admitted that she still has feelings for Peter. However, things were much more complicated than they appeared.
The first one-on-one date during The Bachelor this season was with Madison, 23. Peter wrote her a note that read, “I want to show you what forever looks like.” He brought the foster parent recruiter to his parents’ vow-renewal ceremony. Madison revealed that even though she didn’t expect to be part of an intimate ceremony, it meant a lot to her. She even caught the bouquet.

The first group date of The Bachelor this season began with an aviation math pop quiz. Contestants were joined by two female fighter pilots who administered the question and answer segment reminiscent to one of a beauty pageant. Next on the group date, the contestants head to a gym class for an obstacle course that included checking luggage, wearing inflatable life vests, and changing into flight attendant uniforms. Whoever won got to ride over the Los Angeles sunset with Peter. Kelley, who appeared to cheat, won, which upset other contestants who later confronted her.
The second group date was led by the Dancing With The Stars champion. The premise of this group date was for each contestant to tell a story about sex to the rest of the contestants. Hannah led off and recapped the Fantasy Suite date she shared with Peter in a windmill. While the contestants prepared their story, Peter found a crying Hannah with mascara streaked down her cheeks.
Hannah and Peter appeared to still have strong feelings for one another. The premiere ended with a cliffhanger, as Peter asked Hannah to join the house for the season.
The contestants who were handed a rose after the first night were Victoria P., Madison, Kelley, Lexi, Savannah, Lauren, Tammy, Alayah, Jasmine, Sydney, Natasha, Mykenna, Deandra, Sarah, Alexa, Kelsey, Payton, Kiarra, Courtney, Shiann and Victoria F. will continue on in the competition. None of the flight attendants made it to the next round.
