Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be spending their summer in Greece, but their getaway will be anything but a vacation! The A-list actors will be living in Europe in a desperate attempt to find investors for their future film and to work on their marriage.
A source exclusively revealed to OKMagazine.com that Brad and Angie’s passion project Africa might never hit theaters because they’re having trouble finding an investor to provide $50 to $70 million. “Brad and Angie have had no luck raising the money from their Hollywood connections, so now they’re pinning their hopes on companies that are based overseas,” a source revealed.
While the film is the By the Sea actress’ chance to establish “credibility as a director,” it’s also an opportunity for the couple’s daughter Zahara to break into acting! “They refuse to give up on this project, partly because they’re desperate for Zahara to make her acting debut in the movie,” the insider said.

The summer-long getaway will also give the actors an opportunity to work on their marriage. “They recognize things have been tense and unromantic between them recently,” the source explained. “And hope to rediscover their spark with some alone time, far away from the pressures of Hollywood.”
OK! magazine recently reported that the duo is planning to purchase the entire island of Gaia in Greece for $4.7 million. Now fans know why!
