Brad Pitt is ready to take a break from Hollywood! The Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actor told OKMagazine.com in the Oscars press room that he’s ready to “disappear for a little while,” despite his big sweep this awards season.
Brad, 56, won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood in addition to several other awards this season. When asked if he’s having the time of his life, he told OK!, “Well, no. I hope not. I hope I got other s**t going on. But it has been a really special — really special run.”
He continued, “And, again, it's a community I love and friends that I've made over, you know, 30 years and they mean a lot to me, truly. And I feel a responsibility to that more than anything more than, like, a victory lap.”
“I think it's time to go disappear for a little while now and, you know, get back to making things,” the Ad Astra star revealed.

Brad had a heavy press schedule throughout 2019 because of his roles in Ad Astra and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. For the latter film he won Best Film Actor In A Supporting Role at The BAFTA Film Awards, Best Supporting Actor — Motion Picture at the Golden Globes, and Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Supporting Role In A Motion Picture at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In addition to Brad's successful awards sweep, fans have also been focused on the actor's dating life and the possibility of him and Jennifer Aniston rekindling their romance. “I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn’t, because anyone I stand next to, they say I’m dating. And that would just be awkward,” he joked during his acceptance speech the Golden Globes on January 5.
He also poked fun at himself for his failed marriage to Angelina Jolie. “Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part,” he said of his role in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. “The guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn’t get on with his wife. It’s a big stretch. Big. I gotta add this to my Tinder profile.”
