Brain Power For Days: Super Smart Celebrities With IQ Scores To Prove It

The IQ — or intelligence quotient — that some of the smartest celebrities have achieved is impressive. Especially interesting are actors who play less intelligent characters in movies or TV shows such as: Nolan Gould, Lisa Kudrow and Goldie Hawn whose IQs are unbelievable.

For context, Einstein never took an IQ test but, according to Biography.com, people like to assign him a score of 160. According to Newsweek, Mensa says IQ is more about mental agility than knowledge or wisdom.

The Chive.com says IQs of 125 are usually attributed to lawyers and doctors, and those with 135 equal neurosurgeons and research scientists. Hollywood is filled with geniuses — from Arnold Schwarzenegger to Mr. Bean himself, Rowan Atkinson, whose IQ is virtually off the charts.
1. Jordana Brewster, 130.
Jordana Brewster might be costar of the Fast and Furious franchise, but she’s also a member of the furiously smart celeb club with an IQ of 130. According to TVOverMind.com, Jordana attended Yale where her grandfather once taught —smarts runs in the family! She graduated with a BA in English.
2. Arnold Schwarzenegger, 135.
According to TVOverMind.com Arnold’s IQ is strikingly high, but his career as a bodybuilder and action hero make most people think he’s all brawn.
3. Emma Watson, 138.
How smart is Emma Watson? According to IQTest.net, Emma’s IQ is 138, which was more than good enough to get her into Brown University where she graduated with a Linguistics Degree. She also studied at Oxford University — in her native Britain — where she took ten GCSE A grades.
4. Geena Davis, 140.
Geena Davis’ IQ makes her another Mensa member. Indeed, according to Moodspike.com, she’s even got an honorary doctoral degree from Bates College for her work on gender studies in the media. According to Zimbio, Geena showed off her smarts at an early age by becoming fluent in Swedish after joining her high school’s exchange program.
5. Glenne Headly, 140.
According to TheChive.com, the actress who was married to John Malkovich boasted an IQ of 140. Glenne studied drama in NYC then attended the American College of Switzerland on a scholarship.
6. Goldie Hawn, 140+.
Goldie Hawn shot to fame as a ditzy blonde on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In , which was clearly a brilliant move on her part as, according to PurpleClover.com, her IQ is over 140. Goldie is a card-carrying member of Mensa, which only accepts people with an IQ over 132.
7. Steve Martin, 142.
He’d have you think of him as just some ramblin’ guy, but Steve Martin has an IQ that’s quite high. According to TVOverMind.com, while attending California State University Long Beach, Steve was interested in becoming a professor — but he ultimately decided to switch to theatre.

He plays dummy Luke Dunphy on Modern Family, but Nolan Gould is the opposite with a staggering IQ of 150. According to TVOverMind.com, Nolan’s a member of Mensa and graduated high school at age 13.
9. Lisa Kudrow, 152.
Lisa Kudrow played an airhead on Friends, but in real life she has an incredible IQ. Lisa’s degree is from Vassar College where, according to TVOverMind.com, she helped her father’s research project studying the relationships between being left-handed and developing headaches. What would Smelly Cat have made of that?
10. Sharon Stone, 154.
In Basic Instinct, Sharon Stone raised eyebrows while crossing her legs. But with an IQ of 154 eyebrows should be raised even higher. According to TVOverMind.com, Sharon was only five when she started second grade. At 15, she accepted a scholarship to Edinboro University, which she then left to pursue a career in modeling.
11. Aisha Tyler, 154.
Aisha Tyler’s IQ is really up there. According to Moodspike.com, Aisha earned her Bachelor from Dartmouth, can speak three languages and is unbelievably good at poker.
12. Reggie Jackson, 160.
According to PurpleClover.com, baseball legend and Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson’s IQ reached a stunning 160 points. To give that some perspective, John F. Kennedy’s IQ was just 120. Reggie led the Oakland Athletics to victory in the 1973 World Series where he was named the MVP.
13. Ashton Kutcher, 160.
Another actor who played a silly character on TV — Kelso on That ‘70’s Show — Ashton's IQ clocks in at a whopping 160. Ashton attended the University of Iowa but, according to TVOverMind.com, dropped out to chase his hopes of modeling.
14. Dolph Lundgren, 160.
An actor known more his fight scenes than for his intelligence, Dolph has been hiding a phenomenal IQ of 160, but you don’t have to dig too deep to find evidence. 15. Mayim Bialik, 163.
Mayim Bialik may play a brainy beauty on The Big Bang Theory, but she didn’t have to study hard seeing as her IQ is a stunning 163. According to TVOverMind.com, Mayim earned a PhD in neuroscience from UCLA after turning down offers to study at Harvard and Yale.
16. Rowan Atkinson, 178.
Mr. Bean is in a world almost all his own with an IQ of 178. According to IQTest.net, Rowan is considered a super genius and in the top 0.1% of the population of the world. According to Listovative.com, other people with IQs that high include chess players Judit Polgár and Garry Kasparov.
