Spears’ loyal followers have been waiting for the followup to her 2013 album Britney Jean.

And the insider said Spears is working hard to give her fans a standout project.

"Pretty Girls" is believed to be a taste of the sound that Spears is going for with her next album. And the source said that the music icon has reached out to some big names in music to bring her ideas to life!

“She’s been meeting with a huge songwriting heavyweight,” the source said. “She’s tired of her old bubbly pop songs and wants to make this her sexiest album yet."
