Harmonizers, is there trouble brewing among our melodic beauties!? They are still enjoying the buzz of their highly successful debut album, Reflection. But the ladies of Fifth Harmony are now facing talk that their ride from The X Factor to international fame may soon be coming to an end!
Since Normani Kordei, Camila Cabello, Dinah-Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke and Lauren Jauregui released their Better Together EP back in 2013, there have been whispers of infighting among the girls. Most people brushed off the talk as typical girl group rumors, especially with the smash success of their 2015 album Reflection. But Cabello reignited the breakup talk back in September when she hinted that the girls would eventually part ways during an interview with Latina!
“Honestly, I think we all do,” Cabelo told the mag when she was asked if she thought the girls would eventually split up. “We’d be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it’s harder.”
However, once her statement began to gain traction among the group’s fans, she attempted to backtrack a bit, tweeting a post that clearly slammed the breakup rumors.

The girls are now recording tracks for their upcoming sophomore album, with the 5H ladies all sharing their excitement about the new project. But a recent interview they did with Europa FM left some of their fans questioning just how real their bond is! In the slightly shady clip, Dinah-Jane discusses if she thinks the girls would possibly split up as several of her bandmates look on, appearing annoyed at her response.

Many took the clip as a sign of issues among the group, with Cabello being singled out by some fans as the member most likely to quit the group first to pursue a solo career.
Despite the growing questions over their relationships, the girls are continuing to knock the breakup talk as they complete album No. 2. So breathe easy, for now, Harmonizers!
