Cardi, 26, shared a picture of her and Bruno Mars in her first post back.

"Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with Friday at midnight with @brunomars #TwoGrammyWinningArtist,” she wrote.

The hashtag was pretty telling, considering the rapper deactivated her account two days prior because of backlash over her 2019 Grammy win.

People were upset when the "Money Moves" artist won Best Rap Album on Sunday, February 10. Some, including singer Ariana Grande, were upset she beat the late Mac Miller for the prize. Others, however, said she didn't deserve it because none of the songs on the album won awards.

Her ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj also contributed to her decision to shut down her account on Monday, February 11. BET Network pinned her against her nemesis following the win, which led her to post an expletive-filled video before deleting her account.
