While it's only been three months since Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher welcomed their second child, Jacob, into the world on January 21, the topic of having more kids has already come up in a recent interview. Scroll through to find out what the country star said about having another child!
"It was such a difficult road to get where we are now,” Carrie, 36, told Natalie Morales from Today on April 30 of having more kids. "I’ll have to evaluate after this tour is over. Then we can talk about what’s next. But I’ve been going for a 'live in the moment' mentality lately."
As OK! readers know the American Idol alum previously revealed how difficult it was for her to get pregnant with Mike, 38, the second time around. In September 2018, the "Cry Pretty" star told CBS The Morning about the three miscarriages she had while trying for another baby for two years.
“If there’s anything the past couple of years have taught me it’s that you don’t know what’s going to happen next,” Carrie said. “And there’s no way you can plan for everything or make everything be the way you want it."

"So it’s been good for me to just kind of be present and live in the moment and to stop trying so hard to plan out the entire rest of my life," she added.
The country music star also touched on her work life balance and raising two little boys. Although Carrie admitted she easily gets "tired" traveling with baby Jacob, 3 months, and his older brother, Isaiah, 4, on her Cry Pretty tour, she wouldn't have it any other way.
“How many people get to take their children to work with them?" she said.
