Chris Hemsworth underwent a shocking transformation recently that left the very ripped movie star looking completely unrecognizable.

Behind the scenes footage from Avengers: Endgame showed Chris, 35, putting on an 88-pound prosthetic fat suit.
His character Thor was required to wear this.
The transformation went much further than just a body suit. Chris also donned long blonde hair and an unruly beard to complete the look.

Chris joked about wearing the fat suit during an interview with The Daily Telegraph earlier this year.
"I know how my wife feels now when she was pregnant!" he said, referring to his ladylove Elsa Pataky. The longtime married couple have three children together.
The hunky action star still enjoyed the fat suit experience while he was on the iconic film's set.
"I had weights in my wrist and my ankles to make me move differently, but I enjoyed the transformation and freedom to do whatever I wanted with the character," he said. "Especially playing him again and again, you get locked in to certain expectations. That kind of broke the mold completely and allowed me to swing for the fences."
