Ciara Snuggles With Russell Wilson At The Yankees Game

Ciara and Russell Wilson spent some time at the ballgame, and rooted for a team other than the Seahawks. The lovebirds cheered on the New York Yankees on October 5 as the team played the Minnesota Twins in the second game of the American League Division Series. The singer and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback snuggled up for the cool October evening in the Bronx. Aside from football, they own a professional soccer team, and the NFL star spent some of spring training with the Yankees.

The two-photo gallery featured pictures of Ciara, 33, and Russell, 30, as they rocked matching Yankees gear and big smiles. “Yankee Days with my Baby,” Ciara captioned the post. The quarterback had a Thursday night football game this past week, which gave him the chance to root for the Bronx Bombers.

Their Yankees date is just part of the couple’s passion for all types of sports. The “One, Two Step” singer and Russell announced on August 13 that they are owners of the Major League Soccer team Seattle Sounders F.C. Macklemore and Drew Carey are among the club’s ownership group.

Ciara wrote on Instagram, “We can’t wait for our kids to grow up loving Soccer! Family is everything! Football and Futbol is Family!” The family rocked jerseys with the number “3” on them, as a shoutout to Russell’s number in the NFL.

In March 2019, the NFL star joined the New York Yankees in Tampa for their spring training. Russell spent a week practicing with the team and grew up as a Yankees fan. Russell played baseball in high school and college, and was originally drafted onto the Colorado Rockies.

Russell isn’t the only athlete in their family. His stepson Future showed off his athletic abilities on September 24 during a backyard game of wiffle ball. The five-year-old hit a home run and rounded the bases, and even busted a celebratory dance move at home base.
