The photo is from a December 2013 cover shoot for Marie Claire Mexico and shows the now 48-year-old model looking amazing, but much less airbrushed than your average cover model.

In a blog post, Marie Claire confirmed the photo is authentic, calling it “a body that defies expectations—it is real, it is honest, and it is gorgeous.”

“It's an enlightenment—we've always known Crawford was beautiful, but seeing her like this only makes us love her more,” the post continued.

"She got flowers and I got her," he wrote.

Many fans quickly took to Twitter to support Crawford, including celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis, who wrote: “Bravo Cindy Crawford. Beauty is truth, truth beauty, that is all Ye need to know on earth, and all Ye need to know.”

In 2012, Cindy spoke about how her body has changed with age and after having two children.

“I’m happy with my body ... but it’s not my old body,” she said. “I had both of my children at home, naturally. In some ways I appreciate my body more now because I know what it’s capable of.”
