Cory Wharton received a lot of backlash after saying he doesn't plan on vaccinating his daughter. The Teen Mom OG dad's pregnant girlfriend Taylor Selfridge is doing damage control and claims they will be when their baby is born.
On Tuesday, January 21, Cory claimed on Instagram Live that they aren't planning on vaccinating their daughter.
“Will you vaccinate? Nope!” the reality star said responding to a fan.
Viewers were left furious with Cory's response, especially because his daughter, Ryder, 2, has a condition, known as VLCAD.
One user wrote on Twitter, "@CoryWharton so Ryder has a severely weak immune system but you're NOT VACCINATING the baby? Are you dumb or just a piece of s**t!? @itskcheyenne you good with this #TeenMom2 #TeenMomOG."
Another user wrote, "The fact that @CoryWharton is anti-vax is so so BEYOND concerning."

Following the backlash, Taylor took to her own Instagram Story to claim they are vaccinating.
She wrote, "Guys...we will be vaccinating the baby. Cory didn't even read the full question before he answered it and I wasn't paying attention lol it wasn't that deep. But yes we will when the baby is here."
In a different post Taylor wrote, "Believe it or not but what I choose to do with my child is none of your business."
On January 18, Cory and Taylor threw a gender reveal party with their family and friends and learned they are expecting a baby girl together! Cory shares Ryder with fellow MTV star Cheyenne Floyd.
