Jessa Duggar got super emotional in her latest Instagram post. The Counting On star revealed she was teary-eyed after celebrating the one-month milestone of her daughter Ivy Jane. Her baby happened to share the same birthday of her grandma Mary who passed away from an accidental drowning.
Jessa, 26, shared photos of her oldest son, Spurgeon, holding Ivy. “I‘m all teary-eyed seeing my boys love on their little sister,” she wrote.
The mom-of-three gushed, “Spurgeon had 2 people in the house to love on him. Ivy has double that number.”

Jessa ended her post, “Today is a gift, tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. I never want to take a single day for granted.” The caption seemed to be a nod to her grandmother who died on June 9.
In a Counting On birth special that aired on June 19, TLC showed footage of Mary meeting her great-grandchild Ivy on their shared birthday.
“So special that she was born on your Grandma's birthday. My condolences to you and your family,” one fan expressed in the comments. Another fan wrote, “Saw the episode and just cried ?so bittersweet. Amazing how your grandmother held your baby. What a precious gift from God.”
