Contrary to her cousins, who filmed their at-home births for Counting On, Amy opted to have a hospital birth. “Oh, I’m scared as ever to give birth,” she told OK! “Give me all the good meds. I’m like, for real.”

Amy gave birth via C-section on her due date, October 9, after her doctor informed her and Dillon that there was an “85% chance” that they would have an “emergency situation.” She told fans, “I'm sure there will be negative comments. But I have to do what's right for my body and what's healthy for my son.”
