Josiah Duggar and his wife Lauren have only been married eight months, but the Counting On couple has already faced hardships. The couple recently revealed they suffered a miscarriage in October 2018, and now, in a new Counting On webisode, Lauren is opening up about the other trials they’ve faced as newlyweds. In the video, a producer asks Lauren what the “most challenging thing to adjust to” was when she got married.
Lauren admits, “I think the biggest adjustment for me was I have to do most of the housework.”
“Josiah’s really busy with work and he can’t really help me,” she explains.
Lauren, who has three sisters, says, “I was used to having my sisters help around the house, so it’s mainly me, so some stuff doesn’t get done.”
Luckily for Lauren, she jokes she isn’t bothered when she can’t get to everything on her own. “I just don’t stress about it,” she shares in the clip.
In a Valentine’s Day post, Josiah praised his wife and admitted he isn’t the best at “expressing how much you mean to me.”
“I don’t deserve you, you are the world to me. I cannot imagine life without you. I feel so honored to be your husband. Thank you for choosing me! I love you!” he gushed.
