Winning the top spot on Abby Lee Miller’s pyramid and at dance competitions aren’t the only ways the stars of Dance Moms go up against each other! Kendall Vertes exclusively opened up to OKMagazine.com about everything from her music video battle with Nia Sioux to if she’ll return for another season.
A main storyline on the most recent season was Kendall and Nia’s battle of the music videos. “When they aired it on the show, it looked like we didn’t support each other,” she revealed. “We both know we love each other and we support each other.”
While Kendall opted to have her dance teacher Abby in charge of her “Wear Em’ Out” music video, Nia worked with Dumblonde songstress Aubrey O’Day for her video “Star In Your Own Life.” Despite Nia receiving professional help from music moguls, Kendall insisted she doesn’t regret going with Abby.

“I definitely think I made the right decision,” she said. “Outside of dance she has a lot of connections with music producers and directors so I’m happy I stayed with her because I wouldn’t have a song and a number one video without her.”
Although her former DM co-stars Chloe Lukasiak, and Brooke and Paige Hyland left the show, Kendall plans to stick around for another season. “Yes I definitely want to return,” she revealed. “I’m a dancer and I want to be a professional in the industry. It’s definitely going to open a lot of doors for me.”
