On Tuesday night’s season finale, Dancing With the Stars crowned its 23rd winner!

The coveted mirror ball trophy went to Laurie Hernandez, the youngest winner ever of the dancing competition reality show.

Just 16, Laurie already has gold and silver medals under her belt from the 2016 summer Olympics.

Laurie joins fellow Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson as a DWTS winner.

Laurie and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, have been favorites to win since the premiere, when they tied with another couple for highest score.
After the win, Laurie posted a sweet picture to Instagram thanking Val for being her "role model and big brother" throughout the competition.
