It looks like Lady Leakes didn’t get the last laugh after joking about Demetria McKinney’s music career during the seventh season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

NeNe Leakes made a pretty shady comment to McKinney when the RHOA ladies took their trip to Puerto Rico -- which McKinney planned -- telling Kandi Burruss during a group dinner that they should look around for a studio where they could “drop some beats” for the vocalist.
But after landing her new record deal with eOne Music, McKinney took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to return just a little shade to her RHOA castmate.
“@NeNeLeakes had a great idea! I'm headed to the studio to go drop some more BEATZZZZZZZ! LOLOL!” McKinney captioned a selfie of herself grinning into the camera, making sure to include Leakes’ account on the post so her castmate wouldn’t miss it!
McKinney announced on April 16 that she signed a record deal with eOne Music.
Shortly after it was revealed that she would be dropping her album Officially Yours on June 16, so she likely has a few more trips to the studio left. Watch out, NeNe!
However, seeing that McKinney told OKMagazine.com back in February that she’d never take any singing advice from Leakes, the nemesis probably won't be hashing out their issues with a duet on her new project.
