Vanessa Lachey and Maks Chmerkovskiy are back on the dance floor after a rumored feud left Vanessa nearly dancing solo during last week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars. The partners were spotted leaving the dance studio on Friday, just days after Maks issued a public statement apologizing to Vanessa for leaving her high and dry during Monday’s live show. The former TRL host was forced to dance with Alan Bersten at the last minute as a result. Although Maks blamed his absence on a “personal issue,” other sources claimed that he and Vanessa just couldn’t get along! However, judging by these pics, Vanessa and Maks may be ready to put their differences behind them and get back to competing for the mirrorball trophy. Click through to see the pics!
Vanessa and Maks were spotted as they exited the studio after Friday’s practice. Although they walked side by side, they kept their interaction to a minimum.
Maks did walk Vanessa to her car, where they briefly chatted before she headed on her way.
He even gave her a hug! But was it all for the cameras?

A source told Us Weekly that Maks and Vanessa are “playing nice for the cameras but both are miserable paired with each other."
"Their personalities are very similar so they disagree about everything. They refuse to give into one another," the insider claimed. "There is a lot of fighting going on behind the scenes.”
