Emily Simpson proved that what doesn't kill her, will make her stronger. The Real Housewives of Orange County star underwent her excruciating hip surgery just a couple weeks ago. However, she still managed to pick herself up and attend the season 14 reunion taping on November 8. Although the Bravo star turned heads with her show-stopping, Old Hollywood glamour inspired look, she was forced to use a wheelchair to help her recover.
The RHOC season 14 reunion was filmed at Los Angeles' ShowBiz Studios and reunited Emily's castmates, including Tamra Judge, Kelly Dodd, Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
Kelly, 44, shared a few behind the scenes snaps from filming day. One photo had Gina, 35, Kelly and Braunwyn, 41, posing on set. While Emily sat in her wheelchair, holding her heels, the others smiled and stood above her.
The mother of three took to Instagram on November 11 and posted photos of her gorgeous reunion look. She rocked a dark red velvet off the shoulder long sleeved Wolf & Badger dress, black and silver heeled sandals and drop earrings.

"Channeling old #Hollywood Glam for the season 14 #RHOCreunion ???? and only 10 days out from hip replacement surgery ????," she captioned her post. She added the hashtags, "#rhoc, #season14, #reunion, #glam, #oldhollywoodglamour, #red, #fashion, #style, #hollywood"and "#elizabethtaylor."
Emily also changed up her hair color for the big night. Her light brown tresses were darkened to a deep chestnut brown. The lawyer-turned-reality-star also took to her Instagram Stories where she posted some snaps of her, Braunwyn and Kelly sitting on the right side of the couch on set. "Team right couch," she jokingly wrote below the cute snap.
Emily was admitted to the hospital on October 28 for her hip replacement surgery and has been in recovery since. She shared a photo of her scar on November 10 where a long gash ran to her mid thigh. The gash was bloody and was full of stitches.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. The season 14 reunion is set to air in December.
