If there isn’t an engagement ring for Eva Mendes under the Christmas tree this year, then Ryan Gosling is spending the holiday alone! The actress has given her baby daddy until Christmas to propose because she’s waited long enough to have a ring on her finger!
“You’d think having a child together might have spurred him into action, but still nothing,” an insider exclusively told OKMagazine.com of the couple, who are parents to their 1-year-old daughter Esmeralda.
The actress, 41, doesn’t understand what’s taking her boyfriend so long to pop the question because they’ve “talked about getting married for well over two years, before she got pregnant!”
The insider explained of the ultimatum, “It’s getting ridiculous and she’s told him she’s not sure about their future together if he hasn’t got a ring on her finger over Christmas.”

The reason Eva is pushing her boyfriend to propose as soon as possible is because of how “old school” she is. The source added, “She doesn’t like that her baby was born out of wedlock.”
