Farrah Abraham Reveals Shocking Bombshells About Her Childhood Abuse: ‘My Parents Got Put In Jail’

Viewers witnessed Farrah Abraham get punched by her mother Debra Danielson on episodes of Teen Mom, but the abuse the reality star once endured by her parents as a teen started when she was only a child. The Teen Mom OG star opened up about her dark childhood and how her family worked through their issues.

“At that time, we really didn’t have a relationship because of some of the abusive things that happened,” Farrah said on Brandi Glanville Unfiltered of when her parents hit her with a belt, which left her with bruises and welts on her body. “My parents got put into jail, both my mom and my dad.”

But Farrah, 24, doesn’t hold the abuse against her parents, as she blamed their actions on “different parenting styles.”

“My family and I have such a different dynamic now,” she said after therapy sessions with her mother and father Michael Abraham. “We’ve talked through a lot of our abuse. Not everyone’s a perfect parent, but we do learn and we grow from that. I’m not trying to be harsh on my family because it does make them sad to think back about how they used to be and some of their choices.”
