The Voice is losing a fan favorite this season: judge Gwen Stefani! The “Hollaback Girl” singer is officially saying goodbye to the hit NBC show and saying hello to her new Las Vegas residency, which begins June 27. So what will her fellow Voice coaches, including boyfriend Blake Shelton, do without her?!
“Gwen isn’t coming back to The Voice,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “Everyone is really upset because she is such a part of their family.” NBC confirmed to Radar that Gwen would not be returning to the show.
“Gwen was forced to choose between doing her residency and doing The Voice and her choice was obviously a good one,” the source told the site.
Although Gwen’s run in Vegas means less time with boyfriend Blake, who will continue to work on The Voice, the insider said this will not affect their relationship of over two years. “She is going to do her Vegas thing and he fully supports this decision,” the pal explained.

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and Gwen knows that she is welcome back on The Voice whenever she wants to,” the friend shared. “Blake and Gwen have such good chemistry and Blake is not going anywhere.
Gwen recently admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that she’s given a lot of thought to marrying Blake. “I love weddings. The kids love him. We love him. He’s lovable. I think about it all the time,” she confessed.
