Gwen Stefani Will Still Marry Boyfriend Blake Shelton Even If She Doesn't Get An Annulment
Gwen Stefani and longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton are ready to tie the knot despite the No Doubt member not yet receiving an annulment from the Catholic Church. Gwen, 50, has been trying to have her marriage to ex-husband Gavin Rossdale annulled so she can marry Blake, 43. However, the "Just a Girl" songstress is ready to walk down the altar with or without the Church's permission.
Gwen is a devout Catholic and the lengthy annulment process is delaying her plan to marry the country star. A source recently told Us Weekly that she "very much wants the marriage to be recognized by the church.”
However, the legal process has caused “tense moments” between the couple. The insider also dished on the duo's marriage plans. They revealed that they’re planning a church ceremony in Beverly Hills and a big party at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch. Blake and Gwen will also allegedly sign a $210 million prenup.
The Aviator star and the "Austin" singer started dating in 2015 after she split from Gavin, 53. The ex-couple share sons Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5. Another insider added that Gwen would be delighted with having another child, but “if it doesn’t happen, Blake’s content with her three kids.“
It was first reported in December 2019 that Gwen's faith was the reason why she wouldn't marry her longtime love.

Blake has yet to get down on one knee but an insider told Page Six last month that the Oklahoma native will propose to the L.A.M.B. designer near future. "It was clear within a few months of Gwen and Blake becoming a couple that this was for keeps, it’s now just a matter of when and where. We’re all expecting a wedding soon. I don’t think there will be a big engagement, but they will have an intimate wedding — I would say within the year they’ll be married," the source said.
The pair also sparked engagement rumors in November 2019 at the People's Choice Awards. Gwen was spotted on the red carpet sporting a large diamond ring on that finger.
But the record producer put rumors to rest, telling E! News at the time, "It might be a real ring — a real diamond — but it’s not a wedding ring, no. It actually doesn’t fit over the glove on the right hand so I put it on this hand. But it looks good, right?”
