Jill Duggar is officially a mommy-of-two! The Counting On star and her husband Derick Dillard welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Samuel Scott, on Saturday, July 8.
The couple announced the big news on their family blog, writing, “We are excited to finally announce the arrival of Samuel Scott Dillard! The newest addition to our family arrived on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:02pm,” they shared.
The young couple then went into detail about baby Samuel, and Jill’s nearly two-day-long labor.

“He weighs 9lb 10oz and is 22” long,” the couple wrote. “After 40 hours of labor, he was delivered via C-section at the hospital. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!”
Jill and Derick recently celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary as they prepared for the arrival of their second child with quite the action-packed babymoon.
Baby Samuel joins the couple’s 2-year-old son Israel.
