James Franco was one happy camper while relaxing at Venice Beach with his new girlfriend, Isabel Pakzad. The two have been spotted on outings together since last month, and are “really happy,” according to reports.
And we can tell by James’ smile! The actor, who dressed casually in a plaid button-up, dark jeans, and a cap, seemed excited not only about spending time with his girlfriend, but also about having a sweet treat.
Isabel dressed down in a chic graphic T-shirt and light blue jeans as she stayed close to the star.
The two enjoyed a cozy lunch at Gjelina restaurant before heading to Salt and Straw ice cream parlor for their desert, and looked smitten as they kissed inside the shop and giggled.

Isabel is a 24-year-old Penn State alum and actually knows a thing or two herself about Hollywood, as she worked as a television publicist before pursuing journalism.
James previously dated fellow actress Ahna O’Reily, but they split in 2011 after nearly five years together, making this his first public relationship since.
