Janet Jackson's Unbreakable World Tour Secrets Revealed — Behind The Scenes Of The Music Icon’s Return To The Stage!

Janet Jackson has had one epic return to the stage with her Unbreakable World Tour as she prepares for the release of her upcoming eleventh studio album, Unbreakable. The beloved music legend’s new album and highly-lauded world tour was at times shrouded in mystery as Jackson and her team plotted her journey back to the top of the charts. But now that the curtain has finally been drawn on Jackson's latest musical takeover, we’ve gathered several secrets -- and some equally fierce photos -- from Ms. Jackson’s spectacular new concert tour!

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, legendary music producer and writer Jimmy Jam revealed that Jackson was often pulling double-duty while he completed the album with her and his longtime partner Terry Lewis! Jam said that many of the days toward the end of them finishing the project included Jackson doing day-long tour rehearsals and then making her way to the studio to continue working on ideas for the album.

Her fashions for the Unbreakable era have also been a heated conversation point for many of Jackson's fans. Previously known for super sexy, skin-baring tour costumes, Jackson’s looks this time around are a lot more demure. Her more covered-up outfits for the show haven’t necessarily been a hit among all of her fans, but Jackson is still keeping her looks high fashion despite her decision to reveal a little less skin than expected! 

The singer and her dancers rock custom-made wedge sneakers by Giuseppe Zanotti. The special edition sneaks will also be available for purchase in select stores this fall! "I am thrilled to have been asked by Janet to create the shoes for her tour," Zanotti said in a statement. "She has been a great friend for many years, and I have the utmost respect for her as one of the most iconic and outstanding artists and style icons of our time." Jackson and her dancers were styled by designer Kim Bowen for the show, with the singer’s show currently featuring just two costume changes -- a major change from the numerous costume changes she had during her previous world tours! 

Entertaiment Tonight revealed that Jackson is “suffering from an ear issue that is causing her to travel by luxury tour bus now rather than fly.” ET added that doctors urged her not to perform her Sept. 11 show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but Jackson didn’t want to disappoint her fans and performed anyways!
