Jennifer Garner Is A Daring Superstar & Supermom

Jennifer Garner is totally, absolutely and utterly super. Whether she is attending red carpet premieres, starring alongside fellow A-list celebs or raising her precious children, Jennifer does it all. She’s a superstar and a supermom.

By day, Jennifer takes care of Violet, Seraphina and Samuel — the three kids she had while married to Ben Affleck for 16 years. Ben is never that far away and still maintains a strong presence in their life. But by night, when the kids are tucked up and fast asleep, Jennifer transforms — into a superstar.

Jennifer often walks red carpets, shoots movies and TV shows and appears at charity events. She is always dressed to kill and looks breathtaking. Supermoms who are also superstars don’t come along that often, so take a look at this gallery of some of her best looks while she’s filling both roles.

Jennifer’s first baby, Violet, came along nine months after she’d first started dating the baby’s daddy, Ben Affleck, in 2005. According to People, she told Jay Leno “You can just start to feel really pregnant, like you are the hugest person on the face of the planet.”

According to Variety, Jennifer’s second baby, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, was nominated — upon her birth in 2008 — for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Celebrity Baby , but they lost to Jessica Alba’s baby girl.

Rounding out the family was Samuel Garner Affleck, born in in 2012. And if juggling three children and a life as a successful actress wasn’t enough, Jennifer wrote a piece for the Wall Street Journal saying, “How do you adapt your career to your life? The combination of those things is the largest adaptation of all. When I had kids, I started considering how jobs worked for my family.”

Only a super attentive mom can get away with holding 'Yes Day.' This is an annual tradition where kids get everything they ask for that Jennifer’s been honoring for at least five years. According to SimpleMost, Jennifer said, “You’ll never need coffee more than the day after ‘Yes Day!’”

Despite their divorce, Jennifer refuses to turn her relationship with Ben into a battleground. According to the Mirror, an insider said, “She is all about their family, and she doesn't want to see Ben as an enemy, or for their kids to grow up resenting him."

In 2017, Ben spent time in rehab for alcohol addiction. He wrote on Facebook, “I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”

One way to be present is to ensure your kids stay off social media until they’re old enough, which is exactly what Jennifer does. She told Fox, “My kids don’t have any social media yet. And I am terrified. I think it puts so, so much pressure on kids at an age when they’re really vulnerable anyway. You know, if anyone has any clues, let me know.”

Supermom Jennifer takes her kids to a church in the very affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood. Affleck joined them there separately telling Today that she’s a “great mom” and “helps out a great deal with making sure that we co-parent in as good a way as possible.” Of course she does. She’s a supermom.

With Violet is entering the teen years, Jennifer needs a whole new skillset because Violet, like many girls her age, wants to wear makeup. According to People, Jennifer said, “She’s really smart about, ‘Okay, now I’m leaving the house, now I need to check with my mom because chances are she’s gonna make me take this lipstick off.’ Which, I do.”

Seraphina is also growing up. According to SimpleMost, Seraphina gave her a note that accused her of being a “fun-killing mom.” Jennifer remarked, “Is this a nine year old burn? Or the ultimate compliment?” Those kids need to be reminded that not every day is 'Yes Day.'

Jennifer’s duel-identity is no secret to her kids, but she’s not quite sure what they make of it. She told People, “My kids know two versions of me: They know the version that I see in the mirror right now that looks crazy, and it’s what they see 90 percent of the time. Other times, they see a version of me … where I’m done up, my hair’s done, my makeup is done, so I wonder what that puts in Violet’s mind.”

According to SimpleMost, Ben lives in a seven-bedroom home in the Pacific Palisades while Jennifer lives in nearby Brentwood. Jennifer is in a relationship with John Miller, the CEO of CaliGroup. But her kids are at the center of her world and their love is undeniable.
