Jill, 27, teased her big news on her Instagram story. She shared a photo of flowers and told fans to “swipe up” for some “exciting news.”
So what’s changing in Jill’s life? Her address! The second Duggar daughter shared that she and her family are moving!
The big announcement comes as Jill’s husband Derick finishes up his first year of law school. Jill admitted that it’s been a “busy” time.
“Not only just keeping up with life and Derick’s hectic school schedule, but we have also been in the process of planning for the future,” she explained, before adding, “…we are excited to share with you that we are moving!!”
The family of four, which includes the couple’s sons Israel and Samuel, are moving to Lowell, Arkansas.

Jill noted that the town is “closer to family and more centrally located in Northwest Arkansas.” As OK! readers know, Jill and Derick have missed out on several family events over the past few months, and her far away location may have had something to do with it.
Now, the mom of two can be closer to her sister Jessa as she waits the arrival of her third child! She will also be closer to her brother Joseph and his wife, Kendra, who is expecting their second child.
Jill said they “started the process to build several months ago and have taken pictures along the way and are excited to share them with y’all now!” She shared dozens of photos of the transformation.
The pics capture the home’s process from an empty yard to a fully finished house. Along the way, the family wrote bible quotes on the foundation’s wooden beams and even drew their handprints on the concrete, making it their own.
