19 Kids And Counting’s Jill Duggar Criticized For Holding Baby Wrong In A Sling — See The Photo!
Watch: Why Jill Duggar And Derick Dillard's Baby Israel is a record breaker
New parents are bound to make mistakes, but Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard of 19 Kids And Counting may have made a big one with little baby Israel.
According to RadarOnline, photos posted on a 19 Kids fan site showed Jill carrying her newborn in a sling, which some fans claim was incorrect and sparked concern.
However, the 23-year-old new mom is trained in midwifery and has helped raise her many younger siblings.
“You would think after having 82 siblings and being a midwife she would know how to use a sling properly,” one commenter wrote.

Commenters pointed out that the sling should be raised “about a foot” because the child should be “laying across her chest, not her waist.”

Another fan pointed out that the way she is holding Israel horizontally could be dangerous for Jill, too, because she had a Cesarean section to deliver her baby earlier this month.
As RadarOnline pointed out, Israel is still safe and sound and looks like Jill may need to re-read the chapter about sling usage in her midwifery studies!
