Don Draper is finally ready to put down his drink for good. Mad Men star Jon Hamm, whose on-screen character is known for his love of liquor, completed a 30-day stint in rehab for alcohol addiction.
Reports claim the actor discreetly checked himself into Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut at the end of February.
His rep said in a statement, “With the support of his longtime partner, Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward.”

A source told RadarOnline.com that Jon’s alcohol abuse threatened his relationship with his longtime love in the past. “He definitely had a reputation in Brooklyn for getting flirty with other women when he was drinking,” the insider dished. “Getting sober will only help his relationship.”
Jon looked happier and healthier than ever while on a press tour for the final season of Mad Men, which airs April 5th on AMC. With the actor saying goodbye to his on-screen persona and addiction, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Jon!
