Josh Duggar is doing any and everything he can to stay on the straight and narrow path, even two years after his infamous sex scandal. According to , the father-of-four “isn’t allowed to have a smartphone,” and is stuck using old-school flip phones (throwback), to ensure he avoids all temptation!
“Since everything that happened with his extramarital online ‘dating’ he still isn’t allowed to have a smartphone,” an insider told Radar. “A smartphone was how he used to get away with the OK Cupid, Ashley Madison and fake Twitter accounts.”
Instead, the source claims, “He carries two flip phones. One is for business, but I know he’s not that busy with his used car lot!” As previously reported, a source recently claimed that the Duggar had a car stolen right from under his nose, when a customer drove off the lot, for what was supposed to be a test drive, and never came back.
As OK! readers’ know, Josh’s picture perfect image was shattered back in 2015, when an uncovered a police report exposed that the reality star was accused of molesting five family members, including at least two of his own sisters, as a teen. Later that same year, Josh admitted to having an account on the affair website Ashley Madison and cheating on his wife, Anna.

Now, “the flip phones Josh carries are peace of mind for Anna,” the insider explained. “She’s been through so much with him and she has done everything to keep the family intact. But I’m not sure carrying two flip phones is really enough!”
Clearly Anna’s “peace of mind” has been beneficial for the couple’s relationship as the mom-of-four is currently expecting the couple’s fifth child!
