Josiah, 22, posted a gorgeous photo of him and Lauren, 19. He wore a pink button up while she stunned in a white dress.
In the caption, Josiah dedicated the post to his wife of nine months.
“To my dear Lauren... Happy 1st Mother’s Day! I have seen you love, protect, and how much you have given without getting anything in return. I wish our sweet baby could’ve seen just how wonderful a mother you are,” he wrote.

“Not all mothers arms get to hold their little one, or get to hear their baby’s laughs and cries. You may have missed out on these things since our baby was called home to be with Jesus, but you ARE a mother,” he added.
“I love you Lauren! –Si,” he finished, adding the hashtags, “#mothersday #happymothersday #mamatoanangelbaby.”
In February, Josiah and Lauren shared the new that they’d miscarried and said they were “shattered” by the news.
Josiah’s sister Jessa, who is pregnant with her third child, later revealed that she and Lauren would have shared the same due date.
