In addition to controversial political rants, Kanye West has also been using his social media account to fill fans with a lot of false hope lately. After multiple tweets and comments from the rapper have been publicly debunked, many fans are wondering whether or not they can trust their fave.
A few days ago, the Chicago native proudly announced that he had a new gig. He tweeted, “I will teach a course at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art.”
As the son of Donda West, who was an English professor at Clark Atlanta University before her passing, Kanye’s foray into academia didn’t seem too outlandish. However, the school quickly put out a statement to end the rumors.
A spokesperson said, “We're flattered that Mr. West would have an interest in teaching emerging artists and designers at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. However, Mr. West is not currently teaching at SAIC, and at this time, there are no plans for him to do so.”
Then, during an appearance for NYFW, the “Through The Wire” rapper revealed that Kim Kardashian was currently enrolled in law school. He gushed, “It's extremely serious to us."

But this also turned out to be a lie. A rep for Kim later explained that the 37-year-old was extremely committed to and involved in prison reform. Her work to get nonviolent drug offenders with harsh sentences back to their homes and families was similar to law school, the person explained.
Over the weekend, Ye tweeted, “throne2 coming soon,” referring to the 2011 Watch The Throne collab album he did with Jay Z.
However, as OK! readers know, he and Jay Z have not been on very good terms. In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, Jay commented on the beef: “What really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it...now it’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. And he knows it’s a problem.”
It is unclear how the “Stronger” rapper expects to record an entire with Jay Z if the two are no longer on speaking terms.
