The Kardashians Face Some Hard Truths During Media Training

After a decade in the spotlight, you’d think the Kardashians would already be media savvy, but after the family underwent media training on the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, they picked up a few more tricks on navigating some of their biggest scandals. It took a while to convince the family to do media training because momager Kris surprisingly admitted that she had no interest in doing media. “'I think I am enjoying private life to be private when we are off camera and we're not shooting our show.”
It was certainly an interesting confession given that her family’s rise to fame hinges on their private life being very public. But the media training interviewers pointed out that her eyes went down to the floor when Kim’s sex tape scandal was brought up.
Kim also noticed this and laughed, telling her mom, “Don't be ashamed!”

Though the 37-year-old reality TV star was taking her fame—scandalous or not—very well, it was Kendall who was most uncomfortable with reliving her controversial Pepsi commercial, which garnered massive outrage for its racial commentary.
“I think it was definitely a huge learning lesson,” the 22-year-old said. “There were a lot of things that were blinding me. A lot of people I had faith in, a lot of things I had trust in.”
After Kim said that she should have spoke out about the ad sooner than she did, Kendall snapped at her, saying “You guys have never dealt with something of this magnitude.” And she added, “'I've learned the only person who is truly, truly going to look out for me is me. And it is hard work.”
