Coming in sixth place on American Idol in 2006 didn’t stop country crooner Kellie Pickler from ruling Nashville! From topping the charts with her hit songs to working on her fifth album, the North Carolina native is absolutely unstoppable!
The Dancing With The Stars winner opened up to OK! Magazine about working with hubby Kyle Jacobs and why she won't be welcoming a child for her BFF Carrie Underwood’s baby to play with.
Married to her songwriter husband since 2010, Pickler shared that writing together is a “very intimate” experience. “We share a passion for writing and connect on an even deeper level,” she dished.

Pickler is known for her ability to flawlessly belt out tunes, but she also made headlines for her tumultuous relationship with her family. The country singer’s mother left her family when she was only 2-years-old. With a father in and out of prison for substance abuse issues, her grandparents mainly raised her. But the American Idol alum set the record straight. “My dad’s always been part of my life. People think he had nothing to do with raising me, and that’s not true. I’ve always been a daddy’s girl. We’re close, and that’s great,” she shared.
