Carrie Underwood may be an award-winning (too many to name!) singer, but she’s still trying to impress one person with her vocals: her unborn son!
On The Tonight Show, the 31-year-old mother-to-be told Jimmy Fallon, who welcomed his second child last week, that she performs for her soon-to-be son all of the time, but feels pressure to make it “good.”
"I do feel like I have to sing good all the time," she said. "Like, if I'm just in my car driving, I feel like I have to make it good because he's listening. He's always in there."
She added: "I feel like he kind of feels… he hears me singing whether he would like that or not. I mean, that's what I do, he doesn't have a choice."
The “Something In The Water” singer then, of course, belted out said song for The Tonight Show audience—and looked lovely in tight, shiny pants, and diamond bangles by L’Dezen by Payal Shah might we add!
In an interview with USA Today, Carrie said her pregnancy was not planned but rather she and Mike “just let God handle.”
