It’s been months since the infamous Pepsi commercial featuring Kendall Jenner handing a can of soda to calm a police officer in the middle of a Black Lives Matter protest first enraged online viewers. But the reality star is still feeling remorse about it.
Though Pepsi quickly pulled the commercial back in April after receiving attacks from countless followers online about its controversial content, many were left wondering when Kendall was going to release a formal statement.
She was waiting for the right time, which was apparently during the season 14 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that aired Sunday night.

On the episode, we saw an emotional Kendall finally speak out about the drama. “The fact that I would offend other people or hurt other people was definitely not the intent.”
Her sister Kim Kardashian tried to console her, “I wish that you could see that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.”
“Obviously if I had known this was going to be the outcome, I would have never done something like this,” Kendall said.
