It may have been one of the roughest years of his life, but Lamar Odom is in for quite the treat to end his new year the right way. His estranged wife Khloe Kardashian is going to visit him for Christmas!

The former NBA star has been in the hospital since October, after falling unconscious during a drug binge at a Nevada brothel. And though they split in 2013, amid allegations of cheating and illicit drug use, Khloe was one of the first people at his bedside when he ended up in the hospital. While she has seemingly been less present in recent weeks, a source tells People magazine that she will be there for him as the year comes to an end.

The source said, "the Lamar situation still weighs on Khloé. She's not one who just walks away."

“She’s going to be there for him, but she also needs to start focusing back on herself—and she knows that,” the insider added.

As fans saw in the most recent season of her show KUWTK, the reality star struggled with removing herself from Lamar as she decided to follow through with their divorce. Of course, this was before his incident in Nevada, so now she knows that she is one of the main people who needs to be there for him as he tries to regain all of his cognitive and motor functions, which he lost after his overdose.
