The Kardashians are known for throwing a good party! For Kim Kardashian’s 39th birthday, the reality star kept things low key and celebrated the day surrounded by family and friends.
While posting to Instagram, the KKW Beauty founder, 39, revealed that she had a family dinner, which was catered by her favorite Armenian restaurant Carousel. In addition to that, Kim was surprised with a churro stand and a beignet truck. Keeping her attire casual, Kim dressed down in a white hoodie with her hair pulled back.
Over the weekend, Kim and her friends took a trip to Palm Springs. The KUWTK reality star was joined by Kylie Jenner, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, her pal Larsa Pippen and more. For her Palm Springs dinner, Kim’s table was decorated with peach balloons and birthday napkins.
“I had the best most relaxing birthday ever!” Kim took to her Instagram account. “I spent the weekend w my amazing friends in Palm Springs and then had a family dinner at my house tonight thrown by my mom and Kanye. My favorite Armenian restaurant Carousel came and catered and then was surprised with a beignet truck and churro stand! I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye got me the most amazing bags.”
Towards the end of her Instagram post, Kim revealed that her husband Kanye West donated $1 million to prison reform charities on her behalf. “He donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!” she wrote.
In the past, Kim has voiced her passion regarding prison reform. While on the journey to become a lawyer, Kim revealed that she is learning a lot of information along the way.
"It's kind of crazy because I'm learning it all as I go," she said during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “I spend more time on this than I do anything else. It's insane but it's so fun to be around people that are super smart and get it and want the same thing.”
