Kim Kardashian Afraid She'll 'Gain A Ton Of Weight’ During Second Pregnancy, Hiring Nutritionist To Maintain Diet: Report
Kim Kardashian has been open about the trials of her first pregnancy with her and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, saying that she struggled with weight gain and a few health issues as well. With the reveal of her second pregnancy on Sunday, though, sources close to the reality TV star say she is taking no chances this time around and has hired a nutritionist to make sure she stays fit and healthy while carrying her second child.
An insider speaking with In Touch revealed that Kardashian is changing her eating habits when it comes to baby No. 2, ditching the junk food she ate while preggers with North for healthier options.
“She had a grueling pregnancy with North, which had a lot to do with letting herself go on a junk food diet: frequent visits to Taco Bell, in-N-out Burger and lots of stops for ice cream, cookies and doughnuts,” a family insider said. “She’s scared to death of ruining her trademark curvaceous figure again.”
And the family friend said that Kardashian is also seeking professional assistance from a nutritionist to make sure she stays on track with her healthy eating habits.
"She’s talked to a nutritionist about healthier options," the source said. “This time, she’s going to try to stay away from all the junk food. She doesn’t want to gain more than 45 pounds.”

According to the source, Kardashian plans to stick to a strict diet of “salads, grilled chicken and turkey burgers without the bun, and make use of a trainer more in the early months” to maintain her figure since she’s “determined not to gain a ton of weight” while pregnant.
Kardashian is only showing a hint of a baby bump at the moment, but it appears the stylish mommy is more than ready to take on her second pregnancy as the countdown to Kimye’s second little one kicks off!
