Kim Kardashian worked tirelessly to get Alice Marie Johnson out of prison, and now Alice is returning the favor by modeling in the reality star's new SKIMS shapewear campaign.
Kim, 38, went to the White House in May 2018 to ask for clemency for Alice, 64, who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense.
Alice was released from prison on June 6, 2018 after serving 22 years behind bars and the two have formed a solid friendship since.
"I was serving a life plus 25-year sentence without the possibility of parole. Kim saw a video of me, she heard my story, and she said, 'This is so unfair,' and by the way, I didn't even know who Kim Kardashian was. She went to war for me to fight for my freedom — that's why I call her my war angel, because nothing stood between her and my freedom," Alice said in the campaign video.

She continued, "This shapewear makes me feel that I can walk into the store and I can pick up something I normally wouldn't even think about wearing, and I can put it on and it's going to look great on me. This shapewear makes me feel free."
The SKIMS campaign will feature 26 women talking about why they love their bodies and how the shapewear helps them feel their most confident.
Kim announced on Tuesday, August 27, that her SKIMS shapewear collection will drop on September 10 and will offer a range of sizes from XXS to 5XL.
